Ms. Pearl McRae

     Ms. Pearl McRae, the daughter of the late Rachel Brooks was born March 14, 1946 in Robeson County. She departed this earth to go to her heavenly realm on May 22, 2020.

     She was a devoted mother and loving wife. She was a teacher, preacher to her kids, homemaker, and all around strong woman. She was a pillar to the community. She never met a stranger, always greeted you with a smile and always welcomed you with open arms. She sang on the choir, assisted on the kitchen committee, and helped with the youth committee at Ebenezer Baptist Church where she was a member.  She had an amazing skill of sewing which led to her career of becoming  seamstress.

    She is preceded in death by her husband James McRae and her daughter Lynette Grissett.

    She  leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters Orlene McRae of Fairmont, NC, Mary Powell of Charlotte, NC, three sons James McRae (Dora) of Lumberton, NC,  Richard McRae of Lumberton, NC, Anthony McRae (Reese) of Fairmont, NC, nineteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Due to the Covid-19 Outbreak Services will be private and the family has asked for everyone to wear mask.
