Ms. Patricia Jones Osborne

     Ms. Patricia Jones Osborne, 42, of Fairmont transitioned from time to eternal peace on May 8, 2020 at Southeastern Hospice House. 

     Patricia Jones Osborne was born on May 1, 1978 in Lumberton, NC to Alice Baldwin and Larry Faison.  She brought joy to everyone she knew.  Patricia had a sweet spirit and was a ray of sunshine to all she met.  She would always greet you with a warm smile, a hug, or words of encouragement. 

     Patricia lived in Fairmont NC all her life.  Her greatest joy was being a mother to her two boys.  She loved to cook.  She had an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts and had one of her recipes published in Southern Living Magazine.  She loved writing poetry and she loved to draw.  She loved her family dearly and was affectionately called the mother of the family because she had an old soul.  She worked as a CNA and Teacher’s Assistant because she loved helping people. 

    Patricia leaves to cherish her memory: her two sons Dominique Osborne and Isaiah Griffin, her mother Alice Baldwin, her biological father Larry Faison, a stepfather Lester Baldwin, a sister Lisa Stewart (Joseph Stewart); a brother James Jones; a brother Edward Baldwin (Makeshia Baldwin), a niece who she raised Jaquanda Brown, grandmothers Christine Faison and Pecolia Baldwin and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and friends.  Leon Watson was Patricia’s very best friend who was like a brother to her.  LaShonda Watson was a beloved friend. Other special people include Godparents Dave Ballard, Betty Williams, and Dorothy Jamison.   Her maternal grandmother Nellie Walters and grandfather by marriage Douglas Powell preceded her in death.
