Ms. Michelle Arthurs

     On Friday October 23, 2020, Michelle Arthurs, loving mother of five, passed away at the age of 46 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

    Michelle was born on July 31, 1974 in Scotland County to Bobby and Emmar Locklear and was the youngest of eight children. She is preceded in death by both her parents, Bobby and Emmar, as well as her sister, Brenda Diane Driggers. 

    She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Alexander Arthurs of Windell, NC, Abel Arthurs (Brandy) and Ashby     Arthurs of Pembroke, NC, her daughters, Anniston Arthurs and Aaona Locklear of the home, her sisters, Debbie Chavis of Gibson, Wanda Williams of Maxton, NC; her brothers, Rev. Neal Locklear Jr. (Carrie), Bobby Locklear Jr. (Brandy),   Marcus Locklear (Elizabeth) of Maxton, NC and Douglas Locklear (Kelly) of Pembroke, NC, a special friend, Ricky Braddy, as well as a host of relatives and friends.      

     Michelle enjoyed helping care for her mother in the last months of her life. She liked to make others laugh and certainly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
