Ms. Lillie Ann Jones

    It’s With Profound Sadness And Sorrow That We Announce the passing of Ms. Lillie Ann Jones 68 of Hope Mills, NC. 

     Ms. Lillie Ann Jones was born on April 12, 1957 in Fairmont, NC to the late Daisy Jones and Thomas Jones Sr. On August 12, 2025, in Pinehurst, NC she entered into eternal rest.

     Lillie was a graduate of the Public Schools of Robeson County, she went on to proudly serve her country in the United States Army for twenty years, retiring with honors. Her dedication didn’t end there. She continued her services overseas, working in Afghanistan for several years as a civilian. She had a passion for travel, finding joy in experiencing new places, meeting people from all walks of life and, embracing the beauty of the world around her.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and five brothers.

     She leaves to cherish her loving memory her children, Levester McNair and Derrick McNair both Clarksville, TN; and Christal Jones of Hope Mills, NC; her grandchildren, Jiequese, Stephon, Jeyavante, Jeyaden, Jeyla and eleven great-grandchildren, her sister, Maryland Green, her brothers, Rev. Thomas Jones Jr. (Ruby), Ray Charles Jones (Judy), and Donald Southern, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

The family will receive friends at the home of her sister Maryland Green located at 2283 Baltimore Church Road in Fairmont, NC.
