Ms. Hattie Marie (Taylor) Livingston

Hattie Marie Taylor Livingston of Fairmont NC, born February 28, 1940 to the Late Guy Taylor Sr. and the Late
Emma Jones Taylor departed this earthly life on November 11, 2021 in Lumberton NC.
She was married to the Late Stonewall Livingston.
She joined First Baptist Church, North Main Street, at an early age, but became a member of Jonesville Baptist
Church later in life where she remained a faithful member and supporter until her health began to decline.
She was indeed a loving mother and grandmother, warm and openhearted. A listening ear when you needed it
and lots of good advice whether you wanted to hear it or not. She loved people, she loved making them happy.
She was strong, she was powerful, she was a blessing and if she didn’t leave an impact on your life, that’s only
because you never met her.
She was preceded in death by her Parents and Brothers: R.C., Guy Jr., William, Robert and John Charles
(JC) Taylor. Sisters: Louise Bristow, Bernice McAuthur and Martha Robinson.
She leaves to carry on her legacy her children, Emma Taylor Davis of Halethorpe, Md., Evangelist Diana
Livingston-MCMillian of Fairmont, NC., Janice (Teresa) Livingston Payne of Katy, Tx., Daren D. Livingston of
Dominican Republic, and Phillip D. Jones (grandson) of the home, whom she raised as her very own.
Her loving granddaughter, best friend and caregiver Tierany S. Jones of Lumberton, NC. Grandsons: Garrett
A. (Miranda) Davis, David E. (Shakeya) MCMillian II, Austin T. Davis, Khalid L. Livingston, and Taylor D.
MCMillian. Granddaughters: Jessica M. Payne, Tamara (Patrick) Heredia, Jamila F. Livingston, TeAnna C.
Davis, Octavia Davis, and a Plus Grandson, Maurice Bullock. 35 Great Grands, one Great Great Grand.
Two Sisters: Janice Taylor Graham, Fairmont NC., Theresa Powell, Stamford Ct. Three Sisters In Love:
Barbara Sue Taylor, Margie Taylor, and Dorothy (Dot) Taylor all of Fairmont NC.
A cousin/daughter Rev. Vista Jones, Three nephews/sons: Steven Powell, Bobby (Peanut) Walker and Phillip
Taylor. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
