It's with sadness and sorrow we officially announce the transition of Ms. Eula Mae Brown, 59 of Lumberton.
Eula Mae Brown, 59, was born to the late Mr. Bobby Brown and Elizabeth Brown on September 14, 1966. She departed her life peacefully at home surrounded by close family and friends on December 23, 2025.
Eula Mae graduated from Orrum High School in 1987. She enjoyed watching soap operas, The Young and the Restless, Bold and Beautiful, and As the World Turns to name a few. She also enjoyed cooking and baking; she made some of the best homemade gravy. Eula Mae loved being at family gatherings surrounded by fun and laughter. She was a believer in Christ and she loved Him so much that she surrendered her life and accepted him as her Lord and Savior.
Ms. Eula was preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Cassandra Nicole Brown.
She leaves to cherish her eldest daughter, Akeshia Brown; three grandchildren, Xaviion Bostic, Nataya Brown, and Essence De’Vone; three brothers, Billy Brown, James “Porky” Brown and Lorenzo Brown; three sisters: Yvonne Thomas, Teresa Brown and Rebecca Brown; eight nephews, eleven great nephews; seven nieces, ten great nieces, and a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives. She also leaves to cherish her significant other of over 30 years, Mr. Clentel Thompson.
