Ms. Dorothy Ader Shipman

     Dorothy A. Shipman was born on December 16, 1979 in Washington, DC to the late Booker T and the late Ada Shipman. Dorothy affectionally called Ada made her transition from this life on August 5, 2024.

     Dorothy was a member of St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church in Evergreen, NC. Dorothy was a loving and affectionate person who loved talking to people.

     Dorothy leaves to cherish her memories, a brother, Dewayne Powell (Deon), one niece, DeAndrea Powell, a nephew, Devin Powell all of Truesville, Alabama, one aunt, Mary Grace Dawson of Evergreen, NC, a host of cousins, and friends.
