Ms. Brenda McDougald

     Ms. Brenda McDougald departed this life August 5, 2021 at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, NC. She was a good woman and good Christian who was always willing and ready to help others. Her love was everlasting and true to heart. She encouraged you with words of wisdom and made you feel at home. Her dreams and the telling of stories made you want to talk to her again and again. She was a comforter, friend and counselor. She loved shopping at Walmart, Roses, Bo’s She loved singing, reading the Holy Bible and spending time with her grandchildren. Ms. Brenda will be greatly missed.

    She was preceded in death by her father, Rudolph McDougald.

     Ms. Brenda leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Lucinda McDougald of Lumberton, two sons, Jonathan and Mario of Lumberton, NC; her mother, Ida F. McDougald of Lumberton, NC, six grandchildren, Brenda, Deanna, Desting, Jonathan, Nyheaven and Jade  McDougald all of Lumberton, NC, two brothers, Wilbert McDougald of Fairmont, NC and Andrew McDougald, five sisters, Jeanette Stocks, Ida McDougald, Juanita McNair and Beatrice McDougald all of Lumberton, NC and Annie Bush of Darlington, SC, two brother-in-laws, Jerry Stocks of Lumberton, NC and Bobby Bush of Darlington, SC; eight nieces, seven nephews and a host of other relatives and friends and a special friend, Dina Brooks the grandchildren's mother.
