Ms. Betty Lou Gurley

     Ms. Betty Lou Gurley (Bet Bet) age 75 of Lumberton passed away Monday February 14, 2022. She was born on January 22, 1947 to Margaret McQueen and James Gurley.

     She worked Laundry and house keeping and formerly Beverly Healthcare until her mothers health decline. She enjoyed cross word seek in find puzzles, Pepsi Cola and baby sitting.

     Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandsons, Patrick White and Ryan McQueen.

     She leaves to cherish her memories, two children,  Norman Gurley (Sharon) and Jennifer Gurley, seven siblings, Delila Chatman, Clara Gillis (Joshua), Sheri Gurley, Chekita Gurley, Dwight Gurley (Sonya) Rodney Gurley, and James Gurley, three grandchildren, Jabari Ingram (Tanisha), Jakelie and Dasmine McQueen, eight great grandchildren, Shareese and Markeese Floyd, Jaquaij Janiyah and Justyce Ingram, Jared and Jeremiah Douglas, and Bentley Stephens, special children she loved like her own, Shon Savannah, Alex Stephens, Kenny Rogers, Anthony Ingram and Anthony McLean, Special friends, Lisa Douglas, Christine Burden, Lillian Dennis, Georgia Campbell and Thomas Faison, special thanks to Jill McMillan and Primary Health Choice.
