Mrs. Rosa (Granger) Crawford

     Mrs. Rosa Crawford (Granger) was born to the late Henry and Katie Granger on June 3, 1950, in Robeson County/ St. Pauls, NC. She departed this earthly life on August 9, 2023, at home surrounded by family. 

     She graduated from Orrum High School in 1969. After high school graduation, she moved to Charlotte, NC. She joined in Holy Matrimony to Joe T. Crawford on December 1, 1974. She attended University Park Baptist Church and often visited First Mayfield Memorial Baptist Church with her sister (Shirley Drakeford). She retired in 2012 from Ethan Allen in Charlotte, NC. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping and keeping up to date with the latest news events.   

     In addition to her parents, Rosa was preceded in death by her brother, Willie Granger and sister, Icylene Granger.

     She is survived by her husband, Joe T. Crawford; Three Children; Kim Crawford Gentry (Kenneth) of Charlotte, NC; Ricco Crawford (Aveon) of Huntersville, NC and Michelle Crawford of Columbia, SC. 7 grandchildren; Kayla Crawford, Zachary Crawford, Zara Crawford, Zadie Crawford, Maya Rose Fisher, Zane Crawford and Liam Catoe. 1 great grandchild; Hendrix Anderson (Kayla Crawford). 4 sisters; Katie Mae Granger, Shirley Drakeford (Ace) of Charlotte, NC, Mary Stephens of Fayetteville, NC, and Bertha Worley (Ricky) of Lumberton, NC. 2 brothers; Henry and Alexander Granger of Charlotte, NC and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
