Mrs. Lela G. (Townsend) Crawford

     Mrs. Lela G Crawford, daughter of the late John Furtick and the late Elmaire Furtick was born June 16, 1929. She departed this life on February 12, 2024 at home surrounded by her family.

     She attended First Baptist Church in Lumberton  under the leadership of Dr. E.B. Turner. She sung on the senior Choir and was a faithful deaconess at the church. She was a God-Fearing woman of God and she loved the Lord.

    She leaves to cherish her memories, her two granddaughters, Gail of the home, and Nicole Crawford McMillan of Fayetteville, NC, three great grands, Ryan of the home, Toni (Harold) of Fayetteville, NC and Brittany McMillan, five great-great grands, Ayden, Harmony, Aubree, Ny’Lynn, NaLaya and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
