Mrs. Hilda Grace (Jones) Worley

    Our heavenly Father saw fit to reward Hilda Grace Jones Worley with her wings on August 6, 2025 at Lutheran SVCS for Aging Glen Flora in Lumberton, North Carolina. She was born on November 27, 1952 and entered eternal life on August 6, 2025. Hilda graduated from Fairmont High School, Class of 1970. She joined and became a member of First Baptist Church, Fairmont, NC at a young age. She dedicated her life to her family and job. She also worked at Badgers, Fairmont Knit Mill and Howard Huggins. She worked at Greenbrier in Fairmont for thirteen years before her health started to de cline. Hilda was preceded in death by her husband Ted Worley, her grand daughter, Araya Johnson, her parents, Clarence and Euris Jones, siblings, Shelia Campbell, Deborah Jones, Clemintine Jones, Clinton Jones and Victor Jones and her son-in-law, Raymond Johnson. Hilda leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Tasha Grissett (Phillip), and April Johnson both of Fairmont, NC; three grandchildren, Terreill Worley, Lekeya (Cory) Alford, and A’Riya Johnson. Two great grandchildren, Cali and Cory Alford Jr. all of Fairmont, NC; four sisters, Attelia Harrison (Slyvester) of Hope Mills, NC; Doris Harris of Florida, Glenda Jackson (Ronald) and Maryann Albritton both of Fairmont, NC; three brothers, Clarence (Tammy) Jones Jr. of Knightdale, NC; Stevie Jones of Chandler, Arizona, and William (Sandra) Jones of Bos ton, MA, brother and sister-in-laws, Jerome Worley of Brooklyn, NY; Charles Worley of Virgina, Ricky Worley (Gracie), Randy Worley, and Survon (Linwood) Atkinson all from Fairmont, NC; and Patricia Pipkin of Pembroke, NC. A very special friend, Linda Cooley, Loretta Moody and Rose Mary Santoyo and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and close friends.

The family will receive friends at 412 Marvin Street Fairmont, NC.
