Mrs. Gertrude M. Turner

     Mrs. Gertrude Turner 83, was born December 13, 1941. She departed this life on February 5, 2025 at UNC Southeastern Health in Lumberton, North Carolina.

     She enjoyed going to church, shopping, and talking on the phone. Her favorite color was blue and she was someone who would always check on others.

     She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Hill and her mother Pauline Turner. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Marqie Evans, brothers, Lonnie and Donald Turner and sons, Jackie and Edward.

     Gertrude leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Edward Turner, her children, Laura Baker, Simon (Vanessa) Turner, Preston (Lucinda) Turner, Patricia Turner, Ann Turner, Queen Turner,       Delilah Turner, and Lisa Scott, grandchildren, Chris, Marcus, Ashley, Lashonda, Tearra Raheem, Breanna, Jayden, Miranda, Destinee, PJ, Jordan and Skyler, great-grandchildren, Chris J., Chris H., Jordan, Christian, Jayceon, Aniyah, Tremaine Jr., Jada, Bri, Ja’Lynn, and Nalani, two sisters, Anna Fulmore and Diana Hall, and a host of other family and friends.
