Mrs. Genise (Blount) Ratliff

    Genise Blount Ratliff, age 66, passed away peacefully in the
early hours on April 13, 2023, in her home in Tampa, Florida.
    She was born January 19, 1957, in Lumberton, NC to Willie and
Esther Blount.
    Genise graduated from high school at Ellenville Central Schools
located in Ellenville, NY. After graduating Genise was
extremely fortunate to spend time in Paris as a model. She
enjoyed traveling, listening to music (TuPac’s number one fan)
and baking.
     Genise truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures.
She never met a stranger and was loved by many for the light
she brought when she entered the room.
      Genise was predeceased by her father, Willie Blount, Jr., her
mother, Esther Blount, her brothers, James Parker Regan,
Robert G. Regan and sisters, Cynthia Regan and Jaqueline
Blount Striblin.                                                                                              

     She is survived by her husband, Reginald
Ratliff of Tampa, FL, brothers, Willie Reginald Blount (Annie
Graham) of Red Springs, NC, Jeffrey Blount of Tampa, FL and
Billie Blount of Ellenville, NY, her children, Wanda Blount,
Gregory Bradley, Keith Bradley, Ashley Blount and Bridget
Blount.
     Genise, was an extremely proud grandmother of 17
grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and
nephews who she adored.
