Deloise W. Baxter was the beloved granddaughter of Richard and Maggie Watson (NC) and the daughter of Flossie Watson (NY). She celebrated her birthday on Independence Day; July 4, 1943. She has two siblings, Mona Addison (NY), and Richard Addison (NY, deceased) and two cousins she called brother and sister, Barbra Ann Ryles (MD, deceased) and Harvey Watson (NC, deceased) She also had an aunt who was her daily Bargain hunter/Yard sale partner, Fonnie McKinley. (deceased)
Deloris received her education under the tutelage of Richard and Maggie Watson called Hitch and Plow, Farming and Tobacco Industries. She attended Hilly Branch School system and worked in the Local Factories such as Legos and Texture Fabric. There she met and fell in love with her beloved husband.
Deloise joined in Holy Matrimony with Rev. Leroy Baxter Sr. (December 24th, 1970). She had two daughters, Della Bellamy of the Home (Rev. Kevin Bellamy, deceased) and Jeanetta Baxter, infant, deceased and added two sons, Leroy Jr. (Felicia) and Gary Baxter Both of Durham NC. She gained four grandchildren, two great grands, and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.
Deloise attended Aarron Swamp Church in her youth and later returned as Assistant Pastors Wife. She was also Deaconess of Hester Chapel Church and Pastors Wife of Stone Grove Baptist Church, both of Lumberton NC. She remained faithful to her Lord and Savior, her church and numerous church family until her sickness and God called her home. She was a giving person of her time, and Love. She enjoyed her vegetable Garden, her flowers, and her Leroy. Dynamic Duo together again.
