Mr. William Andrew McNeill Sr.

      Mr. William A. McNeill, son of the late Walter and Ella McNeill was born on February 11, 1937. He transitioned to rest on December 13, 2020 at Southeastern Health in Lumberton.

    William graduated from Hilly Branch High School. He gave his life to Christ and served as a deacon and was ordained in September 2002 at First Baptist Church in Lumberton. He was self employed as a carpenter. He loved to visit his family and the sick and shut in. William loved his family, loved to help people and always gave kind words.

     He was Preceded in death by his brothers, Grant McNeill, Cain David McNeill, Walter Jr. McNeill, John David McNeill and JC McNeill, sisters, Roberta McNeill, Ora Lee Williams, Eva Mae McKinnon, Loretha McNeill, Lilly Ray McNeill, Maggie Lane and Mary Lee Graham.

     William leaves to cherish his memories, his son, William McNeil Jr. and step children, one sister, Dorothy Mae Williams (Linward) of Lumberton, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
