Mr. William Fletcher Chatman

     Brother William Fletcher Chatman, son of Mary Lee Chatman and the late Wilbert Lee Chatman was born on June 12, 1951 in Lumberton, NC. He was the third child of four. He was called home on August 5, 2018.

      He graduated from Rowland, South Side High School in 1969. He worked numerous jobs and loved knitting. He gave his life to the lord and joined Hilly Branch Baptist Church.

     William was preceded in death by one brother, William Coleman and one uncle, Lawrence (LH) Freeman.  

     He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his mother, Mary Lee Chatman of Lumberton, one sister, Mary Lois Aiken of Lumberton, two brothers, Dennis (Octavia) Chatman,        Billinham Washington, two aunts, Vanilla Heath and Eldora Williams and a host of cousins, nephews and nieces. He also leaves behind his loving fiancé, Shirley Coleman of Lumberton.
