William Howard Butler, lost his fight with cancer on March 22, 2023 at AccentCare Inpatient Hospice Center at MedStar Harbor Hospital - Baltimore, in Baltimore, Maryland. William was born on January 16, 1953, to the late James "Buster" Butler and the late Marie Butler, in Lumberton, North Carolina.
William attended Rosenwald High School, in Fairmont, North Carolina. At an early age, William had a passion for work on cars and left Fairmont to begin his own business at William's Auto in Baltimore, Maryland. William continued his work at William's Auto, until his health no longer allowed him to.
William is survived by his five children, Debbie "Duck" Bethea of West Virginia, William Lamont Page of Fairmont, NC, Rhahied Page (Regina) of Baltimore, Maryland, Rhasied Bethea (Brian) of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Leanna Butler of Baltimore, Maryland, and 4 brothers John Butler, of North Carolina, Edwin Butler of Baltimore, Maryland, Kenneth Butler of Proctorville, NC, and Daniel Butler (Nerissa) of Baltimore Maryland. Two Sisters Helen Butler of Bethesda, Maryland, and Margaret Butler of Minnesota, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends. William was preceded in death by two sisters Alice Hazel Butler and Gladys Mae Leach Butler, four brothers James Arthur Butler, James Butler Jr., David Butler, James Ele Butler, Marcus Butler, and Thomas Butler.
