Mr. Tommy McLean, Jr.

Mr. Tommy McLean, Jr., beloved father, husband, son, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend, passed away unexpectedly on January 12, 2024 at the age of 75 in Fairmont, NC.

He is survived by his wife, Kyong Ae McLean; his children, Tommy McLean, III, Nikki McLean, Melanie McLean, Melissa Braddy and Nicole McLean; his sisters, Mrs. Hattie Scales, Mrs. Mary Ann Stephens, Ms. Bessie and Margaret McLean. In addition, he leaves behind four grandchildren, Mrs. Cordie Kasrai, Talia McLean, Maya McLean and TaeHan McLean; one great-grandchild Sage Alexander; a niece Mae Monroe; two nephews, Preston Stephens Jr. and Bryant McLean; one grandniece, Sheranda Barnes and one grandnephew, Tarrence McLean, and a host of extended family and close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; Mr. Tommy L. McLean, Sr. & Bessie McLean, his brother, Mr. Charles McLean; and grandniece, Alicia Baxter.

Memorial services will be held at:

Saturday January 20, 2024 at 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in honor and memory of Tommy McLean, Jr., to the United Negro College Fund.

Interment: Fairmont Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion Stage Road, Fairmont, NC and later at Arlington National Cemetery.
