Tommy Lynn Chatman was born September 24, 1965 to the late Deacon Fred Chatman Sr. and Mary Ann Chatman. He departed this earthly life to go to his eternal home on March 12, 2021.
Tommy was the eighth child of ten. Tommy attended The Public Schools of Robeson County and graduated from Lumberton Sr. High. After graduation he was employed by The Public Schools of Robeson County along with other jobs. Tommy was a big wrestling fan. He was well known in the community and loved by many. Tommy was raised up in St. Mary Holiness Church. He later attended Power House of Deliverance and he was affiliated with other churches as well. Tommy was a fighter until the end of this journey.
Tommy was preceded in death by his father Deacon Fred Chatman Sr., his brother, Elder Fred Jr. Chatman, and his sister, Shirleen Chatman.
Tommy leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Mary Ann Chatman, three brothers, David of Stoneville, NC; Larry, and Lamont (Terrie) Chatman of Lumberton, NC; four sisters, Sarah of Charlotte NC; Phyllis (Ceasar) McLean, Delois (Stefan) Cobb, and Latisha Chatman of Lumberton, NC; A life long friend, Patsy Wilson of Lumberton, NC; his son, Patrick Wilson Sr., grandson, Patrick Wilson Jr., whom he loved dearly, A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
