Mr. Stevie Lynn Worley

     Stevie Lynn Worley, 49 of Lumberton, North Carolina, departed this earthly life on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. Stevie was born on August 9, 1974, in Lumberton, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Joyce Worley-Blue and daughter, Kierra LaShay Bell.

     Stevie (aka) Po Boy and affectionately called “Rick Ross,” graduated from Fairmont High School in 1993. During his working years he was employed by Mueller Steam located in St. Pauls, North Carolina and Reddy Ice located in Lumberton, North Carolina.

     Stevie was a member of Word of Life Apostolic Church in Fairmont, North Carolina. Stevie was a charismatic, lovable and comedic person. He had a great sense of humor. He would have family and friends in laughter whenever he was in their presence. Always putting smiles on the faces of those around him. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

     Stevie leaves to cherish to memories, his wife: Sherry McKinnon of Lumberton, North Carolina; four sons: Josiah Mumford of Orrum, NC, Stevie Worley, Jr. and Rakeem McKinnon of the home, and Jaylon McCrimmon of Lumberton, NC; one daughter: Shakeena Worley of Lumberton, NC; he also leaves to cherish his memories, his dad: Robert (Gail) Blue of Fairmont, NC; two brothers: Derrick (Remona) Worley and Cory Blue of Lumberton, NC; three aunts: Alice (Joiners) Cadestin of Lumberton, NC, Mildred (Ma Ma) Pittman of Marietta, NC and Jo-Ann (Labon) of Proctorville, NC; two uncles: Ricky (Sherry) Blue of Lumberton, NC and Holland Toomer of Westbury, NY; a mother-in-law: Cindy McKinnon of Lumberton, NC; a sister-in-law: Johnette McKinnon; three grandsons: Rakeem McKinnon, Jr., Savyon McNeill and Johnathan McKinnon of Lumberton, NC; three nephews: Derrick Worley, Derrick Worley Jr. and Cory Raymond Blue; six nieces: Anya Worley, Ciara Worley, Destiny Worley, Savannah Worley, Rihanna Worley and Tiana Blue; one great-nephew: Cruz Tatum, best friends: Darrin Harris and Jimmy Stephens, Jr. aka “Slim”, very special close cousins, a host of cousins, relatives and friends
