Ronnie McRae was born to the late James Arthur McRae Jr. and Geraldine McRae in Orrum, NC on March 2, 1964. On June 29, 2025 he departed this life and was called to rest.
Ronnie was educated in the Public Schools of Robeson County, graduating from Orrum High School with his diploma in 1983.
He was delighted in spending time with his family and loved ones. He loved fishing and was a workaholic, with over twenty years at his previous job Graphic Packaging.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine McRae, father, James McArthur Jr., three sisters and one brother- in-law.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his wife, Shirley McRae of the home, daughter, Des-Nique “Nikki” (Javaughn) McGill of Marietta, NC; step-daughters, Angela “Keet” Scott and Sherry “Tooti” Scott both of Orrum, NC; stepson, James “Smokie” Stephens of Lumberton, NC; brothers, Horace Botts Jr. (Wanda) of VA; James Parker (Gloria) of Winston-Salem, NC; sisters, Cassandra McRae and Sheila Glee both of Baltimore, MD; Carletta Green (George) of Lakeview, SC; Felicia Hill of Fairmont, NC; a very special grandson, Dominic “Stanka” Scott of the home; favorite cousin, Arnold McRae, a special friend, John Thomas and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
