Mr. Otto Ford Sr. was born on February 28, 1953 in Fairmont, NC to the late Mary Lizzie Ford and Leonard Ford. He left this earthly world on July 4, 2025 to go to his eternal home.
He attended Public Schools of Robeson County and later received his certification as a professional chef from Job Corps of Utah.
Otto Sr. was a well-known guy who loved to cook, dance, laugh, and have a good time with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by one sister, Helen Ford.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his three children, Helen Franks and Otto Ford Jr. both of Fairmont, NC; and Samuel Ford (Ericka) of Dillon, SC; three grandchildren, Olivia Jade Ford of Hope Mills, NC; Jataerus and Malaya Manning both of Dillon, SC; two sisters, Alfreda Evans (Robert) of Fair Bluff, NC; and Shelby Ford Faison of Fairmont, NC; four brothers, Jerry Ford of Fairmont, NC; Lonnie Ford (Janice) of Jonesville, NC; Johnny Smith (Shirley) of Rowland, NC; and Howard Shipman of Georgia, two uncles, James Ford of Charlotte, NC, and Willie Smith of Ohio, two aunts, Caroleen Cooper and Caroline Ford of Charlotte, NC, four special friends, Nelga Ford, Rosetta Frazier, Darrie Pittman, and Samantha Griffin, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
