Mr. Neil Lumus Miles Jr.

     Mr. Neil Lumus Miles Jr. was born on February 2, 1943 to the late  Lumus Miles Sr. and Mattie Paige Miles. Neil departed this life on September 3, 2021.

     Neil loved baseball, playing cards and entertaining family and friends. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, brother and uncle.

      He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Mattie Delois Miles, three brothers, George Willie Miles, James Miles and Leon Miles, an adopted father, William David Baker (Buddy).

      Neil leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Elizabeth Ann Miles, two daughters, Terri Bradley (Derrick) of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Teresa Bunch (Derika) of Lumberton, NC two sons, Marlo Owens of Tampa, FL and Trevon Cotton of Brooklyn, NY, four sisters, Mary McCallum (Nathaniel) of Maxton, NC, Louise Alford (William) of Rowland, NC, Mona Lisa Douglas (Ronnie) of Maxton, NC and Joanne Miles of Dillon, SC, six brothers, Leroy Miles (Janie) Joseph Miles (Beverly) and Maurice Miles of Fairmont, NC; Raymond Miles of Lumberton, NC, John D. Baker and John Henry Baker of Rowland, NC, five sister-in-laws, Patricia Baker (Bill), Phillis Martin of Rowland, NC, Lillie Copeland (Clifton), Catheline Best (Melvin) of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Delois Miles of Rowland, NC, twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews special relatives and friends.
