September 16, 1981 ~ May 15, 2024 (age 42) 42 Years Old

    Myron Ralphael Colson, better known as Raffy also known as "Solo” was horn on Wednesday, September 16, 1981, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. He entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, enjoying his life to the fullest.

    In his younger years, he would sing to us “See you at the crossroads, so you won’t be lonely”, Bone Thugs N Harmony. Raffy attended the Public Schools of Robeson County and he also attended high school at West Charlotte High School. Raffy grew up in Quail Acres “QA ” where he was well-known and loved, You could catch Raffy many times walking and ploying around OA with his family and friends doing just what he loved, singing “I'm a no limit soldier, I thought I told ya". We all know Raffy loved him some Mystikal. Jagged Edge, Bone Thugs Harmony, and Boyz II Men. just to name a few. Later in his adult life, he moved to Charlotte NC with his mother and family and that's where many called him “SOLO ", Raffy worked with construction most of his adult life, but if you ask some, they would probably say that he was a “Jack of all TRADES’. Raffy enjoyed his family and was a loving father. He truly enjoyed spending time and having talks with his children. Oh, and was he super ecstatic about being a grandfather! That was the highlight of his days. Raffv loved his family and friends but if he didn't mess with you. he had no problem with you knowing he didn't mess with you.

     Raffy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Leana (Eunice) Smith, and Charlie (Helen) Worth, his paternal grandparents, Bonnie Magerlina Colson; an uncle Freddie Jr. (Velma) Smith, a cousin Davyon on Farter and his childhood best friend, Willie Parker.

    Raffy leaves to cherish his memories and live his legacy, his mother, Rosa Sharon (James), his father Tony Colson, 4 sons, JaQuun McLellan, Jayden Hill. Caleb Johnson, and Myron Colson Jr.; 2 daughters, Myronna Elisiyah Colson and Jayannah Hill, 3 granddaughters Londynn. Jayde and Stormie Rose McLellan. 7 brothers; Robert Smith, Tony Colson, Marcus Colson. Devon Colson. Robert "G-man” (Tonva) Smith, Tony (Sabrina) Colson, and Jeremiah (LaTasha) Colson, a grandfather. James McNeil, 5 aunts; Debra (Ricky) Ashe, Thelma Lyons, Della Thompson, Linda (Arby) Keels, and Angela McNeill, 7 uncles; David (Angela) Smith, Earl (Thelma) Smith, John (Grace) Smith, Stafford (Glenda) Singleton. Matthew (Valerie) McNeill, Charles Wallace, and Vonnie (Theresa) Colson, Cousin/Brother Mallory Smith, Cousin whom was his “ONLY Sister LaTorria Lyons. 2 women who were near and dear to his heart that happened to also be the mothers of his children: Sonya McLellan and Jessica Johnson, a special homie Brenton Rico Harris, 12 nephews, 12 nieces and a host of cousins and friends
