Mr. Michael Dwayne Walker

   Michael Dwayne Walker was born on Friday,
November 24, 1972 to Willie Charles Peterson and Willie
Mae Walker in Lumberton, NC. His earthly journey ended
Friday, March 28, 2025 at UNC Health Southeastern in
Lumberton, NC. He was preceded in death by his father, his
brothers, Willie Charles Hall and Jeremie McKenith, and his
sister, Ronessa Hill.
   Michael attended the Public Schools of Robeson
County and graduated from Lumberton High School in 1991.
He was employed by Elkay for twenty-five years.
   Family members left to cherish his fond memories are
his mother, Willie Mae Imbufe; his son, Shamon Mitchell of
Lumberton, NC; his friend, Kim Fulmore of Lumberton, NC;
his brothers, Charles Walker, Jeffrey Walker, and James
Purdie, all of Lumberton, NC, and James A. McKenith of
Parkton, NC; his sisters, Margaret (James) Frierson of
Charlotte, NC, Nicole McNeill of Lumberton, NC, and Joyce
Ratley of Knightdale, NC; his uncles, Maceo (Linda) Bostic
of Lumberton, NC, Billy Ray Bostic of Pembroke, NC, James
Earl Bostic of Fair Bluff, NC, and Dwight (Shirley) Bostic
of Moncks Corner, SC; his aunts, Linda Sinclair, Brenda
(Russell) Whitted, Patricia (Rico) Martinez and Diane
Sinclair, all of Lumberton, NC; his great uncle, Carl (Sadie)
Thompson of Lumberton, NC; special friends, Lisa Purdie,
Sherry McKinnon, Cato Haywood, Gary Stocks, Samuel
McDougald, and Rufus Sinclair, and many cousins, other
relatives and friends.
