Mr. Marvin Wayne McRae

     Marvin Wayne McRae also known as “Skeet” was born on June 24, 1957 in Scotland County, NC; to his father, the late Booker T. McRae and Donnie Moore. Marvin at the age of 67, peacefully departed this earthly life on May 1, 2025 at UNC Health Southeastern, where he was surrounded by family.

     He earned his education through the public school system. Marvin’s hard work and playful spirit guided him on his life journey with Mary L. Walters McRae.

     Marvin was preceded in death by a son, Reginald D. McRae,  His parents, Booker T. McRae and Donnie McRae, siblings, Marylin, Valene, Gussie, Bertha, Ernestine Bennie and Billie.

     He leaves to cherish his precious memories to, his wife, Mary L. Walters McRae, his children, Derrick McRae (Malinda), Alicia Huggins (Gearld), Jasmine McRae, twenty-three grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, his brothers, Duey, Vonnie, Odell, Jimmy, sisters, Annie and Jeantris, Mother-in-law, Baphine Oliver-Walters, brother-in-law, Richard and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
