Levester McNair, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend departed this Earthly life on July 28, 2025. Born on February 19, 1955, Levester was a man of quiet strength and deep devotion, who loved his family. Levester found joy in the simple pleasures of life—farming, spending peaceful hours fishing, enjoying music, and expressing his creativity through drawing.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Sylvester and Hattie Mae McNair, two sisters, Joyce A. Fulcher, Susanne M. Williams and his son-in-law, Anthony Bethea.
Though our hearts ache with his passing, we find comfort in knowing he has been reunited with them. He leaves to cherish his precious memory and to celebrate his life: daughter, Glenda Hill Bethea of Fairmont, NC, son, Levester McNair, Jr. of Clarksville, TN, two grandsons, Jamoze Hill of Fairmont, NC, Anthony Bethea, Jr. granddaughter, Paris Bethea both of Charlotte, NC, two great-grandchildren, Jailee and Kamden Hill of Fairmont, NC, sisters: Hattie (Robert) McNair of Rowland, NC, JoAnne (Wardell) Williams of Fairmont, NC, two brothers: Elvis McNair of Fairmont, NC and Horace (Janet) McNair of Orrum, NC. His love and presence will continue to echo in the lives of his many nieces, nephews, and his dear friends Roslyn Hill and Donna Clark.
