Mr. John Charles Taylor

     Mr. John Charles (JC) Taylor departed this earthly life on October 12, 2020 in Fairmont, NC, at the age of 86. JC Taylor was born on November 24, 1933, to the late Emma Jones Taylor and Guy Taylor Sr. in Fairmont, NC.

     JC attended Jonesville Baptist Church for over twenty years. He was married to Mrs. Marjorie Williams Taylor for sixty-five years. JC worked as a mechanic for more than thirty years and retired from Bernie's Auto Service in Bridgeport, CT. His hobbies included playing games on the computer, being social, spending time with his family, and watching western movies. JC never met a stranger. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, church, and community.

    Mr. John Charles (JC) Taylor is survived by his wife, Marjorie Williams Taylor, six children, Roy Taylor, Aaron Taylor, Charles Taylor, Donald Taylor (Hope), Vickie Tate (Thomas) and Doreen McNeill (Clarence), three sisters, Hattie Livingston, Janice Graham, and Theresa Powell, thirteen grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren and other relatives.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Emma and Guy Taylor Sr, three sisters, Martha Taylor Robinson, Bernice Taylor McArthur, Louise Taylor Bristow, four brothers, RC Taylor, Guy Taylor, Jr, William Taylor, Robert Taylor, and one son, Troy Taylor.
