Mr. James McCollum Jr.

      Mr. James McCollum Jr was born on July 16th, 1987 to Janice Marie McCollum and Robert Swan in Fairmont, NC. He left this earth to begin his spiritual journey on June 2nd, 2021.
      James known as “Jay Swan” was one of the most good hearted people in this small town. He respected everyone , he’d give a stranger the shirt off his back. He loved music , he loved spending time with his family and friends , he loved watching sports & he loved his dogs Coca and Cookie.
      James was preceded in death by his brother, Teledio Pittman, his sister, Niesha McDowell , his grandfather, James Arthur McCollum, his uncles. Sammy McCollum, Carl McCollum and his best friends, Marcus Johnson and Levon Legrand.
    He leaves to cherish his loving memories with both his parents, Janice McCollum and Robert Swan, his loving fiancé, Selena Vaught, his son, Jordan McCollum, his grandmothers, Mary Ann McCollum and Betty Bethea, his uncles, James Jr McCollum, Jerry McCollum  and Pat Bethea, his aunt, Jo Ann McCollum, his sisters, Felicia McCollum, Donielle Southern, Christy Swan, Yoko Pittman, Miracle Swan, Kayonda Swan, Annette Swan and Faye Swan, his brothers, Brandon Watson, Tony McDowell, Robert Levon Swan, Nathaniel Swan, and Jeremiah Swan and his niece, Shanquica Carmichael and nephew, McCollum and many other nieces nephews and cousins.
    He also leaves to cherish memories with his special friends, Joshua “Stokes” Wallace, Mike McCoy, CJ McNair, Kelly Thompson, Keisha Wallace, Terrica Wallace, Jamel Poole, Mitch Addison, Toby Addison, Edna Sampson and many many more loved ones and his in laws who are very grateful for the time they had with him.
