Mr. James Andrew Moore son of the late Andrew and Amy Moore was born on July 19, 1955. He departed this life on January 7, 2024 at UNC Health Southeastern.
James grew up and attended School in the Fairmont Community. He worked on local farms in the area. James affectionally known as Bonap was a free spirit. His charismatic personality made him well known to everyone in the Fairmont community. He loved playing his music and dancing.
He was proceeded death by his brothers, David and Ray Moore and sisters, Mary Frances and Tiny Moore.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Diane Moore, four children, Shawn Moore (Tara) of Durham, NC, Larry Moore (Markishia) of Raeford, Lakeisha Gilchrist (Tremayne) of Fayetteville, NC and Travis Moore (Natasha) of Fairmont, three sisters, Jessie Mae Arnette of Fairmont, Mary Lois Moore and Mary Jane Moore of Lexington, KY, three brothers, John Moore of Fairmont, NC Riley Moore of Louisville, KY and Sunday Moore of Lexington, KY, ten grandchildren, Devon Hill, Keyasha Patterson (Braxton) Dondre Davis, Jordan Whitted, Indiyah Gilchrist, Jeremiah Moore, Larry Moore Jr., Natalya Moore, Nadalyn Moore, and Tristan Gilchrist, four great grandchildren, Maddison Copeland, Leilah Patterson, Aaliyah Patterson, and Karson Patterson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
