Mr. Henry Carlton Graham Sr.

      Henry Carlton Graham passed away on July 16th, 2021, at the age of 71 at UNC Southeastern Medical Center.  His battle with serious medical issues showed his courage and strength while facing one of the biggest challenges of his life.  Despite the pain, Henry stayed humble and never complained about his sickness.  

Henry’s favorite pastime was socializing with his brothers, his family, and friends as well as playing the machines and scratch offs of which many know he hand a lucky hand! Henry worked for Parkview Terrace in maintenance, and he also worked many years and retired from working in the concrete/cement profession.

Henry is preceded in death by his parents Roosevelt Graham Sr. and Hazel Graham Bell. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Roosevelt Graham Jr. and Horace Graham.  Henry’s mother Hazel was remarried to John Bell. Henry’s step siblings also preceded in death are Carrie Bell Young, John Willie Bell, Mary Suggs, Robert Bell, and Ted Branch.

Henry is survived by his former wife and special friend Sadie Graham, siblings, JoAnn Graham, Robert Lee Graham, Charles Graham, James William Graham, and John Wesley Graham. Henry’s step siblings are Mildred Carter, Loisteen Sinclair, Virginia Jones, Sam Branch, Carolyn Stribling, James Bell, Diane Hickman, and Denise Bell.

 Henry leaves to cherish his memories a daughter Wanda Omodunni (Oluwaseyi) and his sons Carlton Eugene Graham (Michelle), Henry Carlton Graham Jr. (Angelica). Henry has 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews whom he adored.
