It's with sadness and sorrow we officially announce the transition of Mr. George Tyron Worley, 50 of Lumberton.
George Tyron Worley 50, departed this earthly life on Saturday, November 15, 2025 surrounded by his siblings at UNC Southeastern Hospital in Lumberton, North Carolina. He was born February 7, 1975 in Lumberton, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his father George Edward Page, daughter Shiasia Worley and brother Michael Eugene Worley.
George, affectionally called “Ron” from childhood, was educated in the Public Schools of Robeson County. He graduated from Fairmont Senior High School in Fairmont, North Carolina. George enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He leaves to cherish memories his daughter Georgiana Worley of Lumberton, North Carolina; his mother: Alice Cadestin of Lumberton, North Carolina; two sisters: Mary Worley and Kimberly (Warren) Sheridan; one brother: Patrick Worley all of Lumberton, North Carolina; special god-father: Percy Shaw of Fairmont, North Carolina; two aunts: Iris Page and Amelia Mitchell of Fairmont, North Carolina; four uncles: Earnest Page and Sam McNair of Fairmont, North Carlina, Robert (Gail) Blue of Orrum, North Carolina and Holland Toomer of Westbury, New York; one niece: Sakiya Worley; six nephews: Demetri (Nita) Sheridan, Joshua (Stasia) Sheridan, Patron Worley, Matrice Worley, Elijah Worley and Tashun Patterson; one great-niece: Sariyah Sheridan; one great-nephew: Jourdan Sheridan; special cousins that were raised as siblings; the mother of his daughter: Briana Hunt; special friend: Nancy Hunt; a host of cousins and friends.
