Mr. George Andrew Moore

     Mr. George Andrew Moore, 63 of Fairmont, NC passed away April 27, 2022 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. 

     George was born on October 2, 1958 to Rommie and Pearline Moore the youngest of twelve siblings. He was married to the late Mary M. Moore.

     He graduated from Robeson County Schools and later went on to receive his electrical installation and maintenance degree. For several years, He successfully owned and operated Moore Electrical Company in Durham, NC. For several years, George was responsible in making sure his older siblings made their annual trip to NJ and surprised everyone last year when he drove the last leg of the trip.

     George was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary, his sister, Ernestine and his brother, William.

     He leaves to mourn, his sisters, Helen Ford, Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, Iola Moore, Nettie Ruth Hayes, Orlean Jackie Hill all of Fairmont and Lois Moore of Lumberton, NC, his brothers, Frank Moore of the home, James Moore of Atlantic City and his two nephews raised as his brother, William Nelson Hayes of Fairmont, NC and Larry Moore of Pleasantville, New Jersey, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
