     Mr. George Edward Jones, 49 of Fairmont, NC was born to the late George Everette McArthur and Bernice Jones on January 26, 1971. He departed this earthly life on January 20, 2021 at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton.

     He is survived by his mother, Bernice Jones of Fairmont, NC, four sons, Tronquill Nealy, Joquill Nealy, Josiah Jones and Deshawn Jones of Fairmont, NC, one grandson, Cameron, a special friend, Shameika Bennett, of Fairmont, NC; four brothers, Charles (Yvonne) Jones and Donald Ray Jones (Shirlene Wright) of Fairmont, NC and Dale McArthur of Charlotte, NC, a special aunt, Mary Bowman McArthur, aunts & uncles, Ralph (Pattie) Jones of Port Chester, NY, Elijah (Maudie) Jones of Fairmont, NC, Bank Hayes and Nettie Ruth Hayes of Fairmont, NC, Linda McDuffie of Apex, NC, Joyce Bullock of Marietta, NC and Mae Ruth of Fairmont, NC and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
