Mr. Gary Wayne Antone

     Mr. Gary Wayne Antone was born November 22, 1968 at home in Columbus County. He departed this life at 2:58 PM on October 26, 2022 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System. Gary was loved by all that knew him. He graduated from West Columbus High School in 1989. He worked at Smithfield for over 6 years.  He was employed with Myrtle Desk for over 10 years. He then became an entrepreneur.

     He was preceded in death by his father, Granford Lee and his brother, Calvin Leverne Antone.

     He leaves to cherish his loving memory his mother, Marie Antone of Whiteville NC, his daughter, Tasheka Antone of Lumberton NC, his sisters; Tammy Ward of Boardman NC, Mary (Roy) Hooker of Aiken SC, Doris Ward of Fayetteville NC, Renee Antone of Chadbourn NC, and James Antone of Maine. The love of his heart was his grandson, Ce’von Jones who he called ‘Pa-Pa baby’. A special friend, Pamela Brown who is the mother of his daughter. Gary was a special father figure to Amelia Brown, Amanda Brown, Tameka Brown, Jalek Ward, and Keimora Jones. He also was a special father figure to Meshonta Robinson, Airica Mayes, O’Rayonta Andrews, Larayveana Andrews, and grandkids: Airiyen Evans, KingsLee Carter, BryLee Carter, and Airielle Wilson (Trenisia Robinson). He had a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. Special friends who helped him along the way include Necia Campell and Ruby Campell. Also, there were many dearest to Gary that are too many to mention.
