Mr. Evony Arnez Shipman

     Evony Arnez Shipman was born on October 26,1976 at UNC Health to the late Dolphus Vareen and Sarah Fields. He departed this life on June 18, 2023.

     Evony Arnez Shipman attended the Adult High School program at Robeson Community College and graduated. He went to enroll and complete the Cosmotology program at Robeson Community College. He began his career cutting and styling hair at Mr. B’s Reflection of Beauty. Evony was a master of his craft, always having a high clientele. In 2009 he opened El’s Creation of Beauty Salon and remained there until 2010. He relocated to Kreative Image Salon. Then he relocated to Peace of Heaven Salon and Barber. He then returned back to Kreative Image Salon where he remained until his health declined.

     Evony is preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

     Evony leaves to cherish his memories to his mother Sarah (James) Fields of the home, two sisters, Sandra (John) Inman and Dorita Shipman both of Lumberton, NC; three brothers, Edward Shipman of Greensboro, NC; Ronnie Shipman and Willie Shipman both of Lumberton, NC; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and clients.
