On Friday night May 29, 2026 God peacefully and lovingly called Edward Earl Burden from his earthly home to his eternal home. Edward was born on May 17, 1961 to the late Mrs. Lessie Mae Burden McNeill.
At an early age Edward joined First Baptist Church. Edward enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He attended Robeson County schools and graduated from Lumberton High School. He joined the Army afterwards and served his country. He was an electrician, a trade which he learned in the Army.
Edward was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Lessie Mae Burden McNeill and siblings, David, Johnnie, Levon, Calvin, and Bino.
Edward is survived by his daughter, Niesha Burden, sisters, Sylvia McNeill (Jean), Gracie Gray and Sharon Burden, two brothers, Leon Burden (Taneshia) and Tyrone Burden, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
