Mr. Eddie J. Davis

     Mr. Eddie J. Davis 63 of Lumberton was born June 29th, 1960 in Lumberton North Carolina to the late Flora Mae Davis and Elliott Wilson. Eddie departed his earthly life on Monday March 25, 2024 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

     Eddie was educated in the public school of Robeson County, and he graduated from Lumberton High School. He was a member of Mount Pleasant AME Zion church. Eddie was employed by Lumberton Christian Care for over 20 years, he loved serving others, and he never met a stranger. Eddie was a loving happy person who always had a way of lifting everyone’s spirits when he was around. He was the family Historian of our family.

      He was preceded in death by his parents, Flora Mae Davis and Elliot Wilson. He leaves behind to cherish his memories a special friend, Leroy Dixon and a host of cousins and friends. He shared a special bond with his cousin Glenda Buchanan.
