Mr. Earnest Thompson

     Earnest Thompson was born in Fairmont, NC on April 6, 1944 and departed this life on Monday February 27, 2023.

     Earnest worked many jobs to provide for his family. Earnest loved his family and friends. He loved to give advice to anyone that would listen. Earnest was always willing to help others.

     Earnest is preceded in death by his mother, Estella Thompson and father, Buster Joseph Thompson, siblings, J.C. Thompson, Willie D. Thompson, Joseph Thompson, Albert Scott, Clarence Scott, Carleen Gaddy, Rosa Lee Haywood and Betty Lee McQueen.

     He leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Ernest Thompson Jr., Clenel Thompson, Richard Thompson, Elizabeth McNeill (Ellis), Terrell Thompson, eight grandkids, Brandon Chavis, Ernest "Tre" Thompson, Dustin Chavis, Brianna McNeill, Isaiah McNeill, Valencia Thompson, Najah Thompson and A’lani Thompson, one great grand, Royal Moore, one sister, Mae Ruth Jones, one special nephew, James Cleveland Thompson Jr. and a host of other relatives and friends.
