Mr. Earl Billings

     Earl Billings of Fairmont, North Carolina 67, departed his life in peace on Monday, February 19, 2018, at Glen Flora Nursing Home in Lumberton, North Carolina. Earl was born on May 21, 1950, in Lumberton, North Carolina to the late Walter and Christine Billings. Earl was united in marriage on July 27, 1969 to Mary Billings and to this union, three children were born.

    Earl grew up in Robeson County and was employed with Goodyear Construction for many years. He also worked in the Farm as a laborer and was self-employed as a Landscaper until his health declined. Earl loved being outdoors and enjoyed spending time with his family and took special joy in rendering all his grandchildren. Earl was preceded in death by his son Earl Billings, Jr and two siblings, Ester Billings and Emma Bishop.

    Earl is survived by his loving wife Mary Billings for 49 years of Fairmont, NC, two daughters Alfreda Lewis (David) of Durham, NC. And Kimberly Billings of Fairmont, NC. Two sisters, Shirley Campbell and Savanah Gaddy both of Fairmont, NC. Four Brothers, Walter Ray Billings, Clinton Billings both of Fairmont, NC. Moses Billings of Winston-Salem, NC. And Michael Bridgett of Fairmont, NC. Four Grandchildren, Kamara Lewis of Clarkton, NC. Brandon, Bryant, and Brayha all of Fairmont, NC. Earl had Five Brother-in-laws and One Sister-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who will miss him dearly.
