Mr. Douglas Page Tribute

Its with Sadness and sorrow we officially announce the transition of Douglas C. Page 62, of Fairmont. He transitioned from time to eternal peace on October 10, 2025.

Mr. Douglas Colon Page 62, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025 at McLeod Hospital
in Dillion, SC; surrounded by family and friends. He was born December 1, 1962 in Mullins, SC;
to Mr. James Wesley and Shirley Jean Campbell.
Douglas was educated in the Public School of Robeson County. Douglas loved his family. If
you wanted to get a rise out of him, say something he didn’t like about his family and he was
happy to get you told off. He was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. According to him no other
team existed. In his late twenties he relocated to Syracuse, NY; where he did construction and
mechanical work. One of his proudest moments was when he appeared on Judge Joe Brown’s
tv court show. Yes, he lost his case but, he said it didn’t matter because they paid him well and
took good care of him. Later in life he relocated back to Robeson County and became employed
by Harbor Freight of Dillion, SC; until his health began to fail him. No matter how he felt, he
always found time to compliment women. He knew how to put a smile on someone’s face.
Douglas is preceded in death by two of his sons, Douglas Page Jr., and Callon Benjamin Page
Tarver both of Syracuse, NY.
Those who will continue to honor his memories, his parents, James and Shirley Campbell of
Fairmont, NC; his daughter, Marianna Page Tarver of Syracuse, NY; his sons, Christopher Page
of Elizabethtown, NC; and Clayton Page of Fayetteville, NC; his brothers, Richard (Nancy) Page
of Andrews, SC; and Wayne (Maria) Page of Hagerstown, MD; his sisters, Maryland Page of
Albany, OR; Christi (Alphonso) Lennon of Evergreen, NC; and Fannie Gage of Fairmont, NC; a
very special friend whom he loved dearly, Yon’te Blue of Dillion, SC; eleven grandchildren, one
great-grand expected to arrive next month, a host of aunts uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins,
and friends, two special friends, Rose Marie Page of Columbia, SC; and Howard Faison of
Whiteville, NC.
Douglas’s smile and love will never be forgotten.
