     Mr. Doshie Leggett Jr., 84, of Lumberton transitioned from time to eternal rest on November 4, 2019.  Mr. Doshie Leggett Jr. was born on December 19, 1934 to the late Doshie Sr. and Annie Leggett..

     He attended The Public School in Robeson County. He joined First Baptist Church at an early age and attended until his health began to fail. Mr. Leggett moved to Brooklyn, NY and remained there for thirty years and retired. He moved back home to open his own lawn care service for several years.

     Doshie Leggett Jr. is survived by a niece that he help raise, Cynthia Leggett Breeden of Fayetteville, NC; one daughter, Alluring Byrd (Matthew), two sons, Denis McEachern and Reginald McEachern (Angela); seven grandkids, Eric Byrd, Jessica Byrd, Latoya Byrd, Emmanuel Brassfield, Jayvon McEachern, Jennifer McEachern, and Denis McEachern Jr., nine great grandkids all of New York, four nieces and two nephews. A devoted great niece, Monica Breeden, two great nephews, Corey Elder (Marie) and Christopher Breeden (Eugenia) and a host of other relatives and friends.
