Mr. Daniel "David" McKinnon

     Mr. Daniel “David” McKinnon was born on May 29,1932 to John Wesley McKinnon and Rosa Lee Hicks McKinnon. He entered into heavenly rest on September 20, 2024 at Morrison Manor Hospital in Laurinburg, NC.

     He was married to Melissa Cade McKinnon. He worked at Osterneck Sandbag Company for many years. He also worked for Converse and Alamac.

     He went to Raft Swamp Community School. He was a member of Hilly Branch Baptist Church and later on Joined Rock Hill Baptist Church. Upon moving to Lumberton, NC he attended First New Testament Church under the leadership of Bishop Calvin Baxter.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and one sister.

     He leaves to cherish his memories to his devoted sisters, Mrs. Mae Ford, Mrs. Louise Leake (Willie), and Mrs. Katie Baxter (Bishop Calvin Baxter) all of Lumberton, NC. and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
