Andrew Baker also known as “Snoop” was born on July 14, 1988, in Lumberton, North Carolina. Andrew departed his life on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 in Donough, Georgia, leaving behind a heartbroken family whose lives are forever changed.
He graduated from Lumberton Senior High in 2006. His love for music led him to become a gifted and professional drummer at his church, Deeper Truth in Fairmont, North Carolina. He was a passionate DJ dedicated to crafting immersive, high-energy musical experiences. He was a master technician with an innate understanding of complex industrial machinery. He had a real knack for mechanics and could repair anything with a motor. He was also a talented artist with a creative spirit and a natural eye for AI enhancements, always exploring new ways to blend technology with creativity.
In September 2016, he relocated from North Carolina to McDonough, Georgia. He was united in Holy Matrimony with his wife Mrs. Shalondia Yvette Baker in 2024. He was a profoundly loyal, kind-hearted, and very humble soul who poured his entire heart and effort into everything he did. Through his unwavering kindness and love, he touched the lives of countless individuals. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend.
Andrew was a source of great joy and light during his life, and he was preceded in death by his father, Walter Brown, as well as his grandparents, James and Mollie Baker, and his aunt, Pamela Jane Baker.
Andrew’s life will be forever cherished in the lives of his children; Andrew Baker Jr. and Tyson Baker both of Fayetteville, North Carolina, his parents, Amy Baker Harris (Darren) of Lumberton, NC; his sisters, Shaunta Renee Baker of Lumberton, NC; Carolyn Bethea (Derrell) of Orrum, NC; Brittany Harris and Evelyn Harris both of Wilson, NC; his brothers, Marketus “Mark” Baker (Valesa) of Richmond, VA; and Joseph Harris (Ziykeya) of Lumberton, NC; his uncles, James Derrick Baker and Kennie Baker both of Lumberton, NC; Donnie (Alisha) of Hope Mills, NC; his aunt, Diane Dixon (Ernest) of Lumberton, NC; a special aunt Annie Castro of Loganville, GA.
Two special cousins aka brothers, Christopher James Baker (Alex) of Loganville, GA, Enrique Jose Baker (Jojo) of Philadelphia, a special nephew, Rayshaun Tyrese Baker (Bashawna) of Lumberton, NC; and great uncles, Thomas Giles Baker of Lumberton, NC; James Thomas McCormick (Evelyn) and Joshua Ray McCormick (Mary) both of Lumberton, NC; a great aunt Mageline McCormick of High Point, NC; and a host of devoted cousins, nephews, nieces, friends and church family.
