On May 16, 2020 Joe McEachern Jr. gained his crown to heaven. Joe McEachern was born to the late Gus Joseph and Lula Mae on April 30, 1956 in Dillon, SC.
He received his education in Hempstead New York. After that he went straight into the Army and served ten years. While their Joe received the Good Conduct Medal 20 Award, Expert Infantry Badge, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, NCO Professional Development Ribbon Level 2, Rifle M-16 Expert Qualification Badge, and a certificate in Finance Specialty. He also worked for the Hempstead Public School System until he relocated back to North Carolina. Joe affectionally known as Uncle June was very sweet, meek, and humble. If he could help you he would.
He is preceded in death by one brother, Elder Gus J. Blunt and one sister, Evangelist Betty Parks.
He is survived by his son, Joe McEachern III, brothers, Levern Blunt of Hempstead, Long Island, Herman Blunt (Linda) of Florence, SC and Robert Blunt (Marie) of Dillon, SC; one uncle, Robert K. Blunt (Bernice) Of Rowland, NC; two beloved sister-in-laws, Lou Ester Blunt and Prince Ann Blunt, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. One special niece, Marni McCain.
