Janice Theresa (Livingston) Payne

     Janice Theresa Livingston Payne was born January 30th, 1965, to Hattie Marie Taylor Livingston and her father Stonewall Livingston in Loris, SC. She was raised in the beautiful small town of Fairmont, NC where she later graduated high school in 1983. She went on to serve two years in the Army before starting her family and deciding to end her military career. Shortly after, she decided to pursue her career in nursing. She touched many lives and healed many bodies in her time as an LPN.  She later left the field to tend to her own health and moved from Fairmont, NC to Houston, TX. After 5 years of being cared for by her youngest daughter, “T” as she was affectionately referred to by those closest to her, passed away on February 15th, 2025. She was loved dearly by her siblings Emma Taylor Davis, Diana Livingston McMillan and Daren Livingston. Theresa will be missed by many loving nieces and nephews. She is survived by her daughters with whom she shared with Jeffrey Payne. Jessica Maria Christino and her children Nicholas, Hailey and Zoey Christino as well as Tamara Monique Heredia and the children she helped care for and who cared deeply for her in return Audrey, Marcel and Violet Heredia. 

After years of battling renal disease and a more recent battle with cancer she joined her parents and is now peacefully resting in heaven while holding her grand daughter Robyn Heredia.

Theresa had a big heart, and she shares many memories with those at home in Fairmont, NC. Our lives will never be the same, this world is short another much needed beacon of love but we are so happy she is at peace.
