Bloomie Gordon

      Ms. Bloomie Gordon, 72, of Fairmont, transitioned from time to eternal peace on Feb. 24, 2019.

     Carolyn was born September 10th, 1946 in Robeson County. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Bonnie Harrington.  Carolyn attended  Dillon County Public Schools, a graduate of Columbia High School (Lake View High School), and worked at Carpostan Industries. Carolyn was a  member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and a faithful member of their Usher Ministries for many years. Carolyn enjoyed being outside and especially tending to her plants and flowers.  She also enjoyed traveling to visit her many family and friends.
    Carolyn is survived and cherished by her son Stanley Levine Bryant (Briana) of Portsmouth, Virginia, one sister Barbara Jean Harrington, two brothers Willie James Harrington Jr. (Eva), and Vinson Lee Harrington all of Lake View South Carolina, and three grandsons, Thomas Michael Bryant, Stanley Levine Bryant Jr., and Johnathan David Bryant. She was preceded in death by one son, Danny Ray Harrington.  She will be greatly missed by her aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews as well as her many close friends.
