Ms. Rosa Lee Dortch

     Ms. Rosa Lee Dortch, 69, of Fairmont, transitioned from time to eternal peace on Jan. 3, 2019 at her home.

     Rosa Lee Dortch was born on  April 2, 1949 to the late John Dortch and late Emma Lee Campbell..

    Rosa Lee attended Marietta Elementary and High School. She worked at Converse, Smithfield and Southeastern Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Mill Branch Baptist Church of Fairmont, NC. She was a faithful member. She loved listening to the choir sing and loved hearing the preacher preach. She loved to dress for church and gave generously to the church. She loved giving to others and serving the Lord.

     She is preceded in death by her husband,             Nathaniel Pearson, parents, John Dortch and Emma Lee Campbell, one granddaughter, Angettie Pearson, two grandsons, Alfonzo Pearson and Stephon Griffin, one sister, Ruby Mitchell, and two brothers, James and John Dortch.

     She leaves to cherish her loving memory, two daughters, Mae Pearson (Willie D. Haywood) and Sheryl Pearson and special friend, Warren          Stackhouse both of Fairmont, NC; one step son, Glenn Dortch of Lumberton, NC, three grandchildren, Leann Vandroff (Travis), Alfonzo N. Pearson (Victory)      and Damin Haywood, (Jasmine) of Fairmont, fifteen great grandchildren, three brothers, Tommy Dortch of Atlanta, GA; Ronnie Dortch and David Dortch of Lumberton, NC;  four sisters, Shirley Dortch and   Carrie Dortch Mitchell and two special sisters, Helen Scott (Rev. Robert) and Shirley Dortch all of Lumberton, NC and Willimae Dortch of Charlotte, NC. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
