It is with great sadness that the family of Priscilla “Pearl” Swindell announced her passing on January 2, 2019 in Bladenboro, NC. She was born August 25, 1948 in Lumberton, NC to Frank and Elizabeth Swindell.
Priscilla loved to work on her crafts and was an avid reader of her Bible. She was a really good cook. Fried chicken, chicken and pastry and neckbones and rice was her specialty foods. Priscilla was always the life of the party. She had a big heart and took in many people in her home over the years. She was a nanny to several children and worked at Converse.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Swindell and her brother, James Franklin Swindell.
Priscilla is survived by three children, Michelle Swindell of Bladenboro, NC; Delton Swindell of Lumberton, NC; and Sylvia Swindell of Parkton, NC; three sisters, Gwen Lesane, Mable Brackett, and Carolyn Mitchell all of Lumberton, NC; one brother, Jerry Swindell of Corpus Christi, TX; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews. All of these she loved and touched deeply.
